  In 2002, we were taking a vacation to the islands to go diving. We needed a pet sitter. There was no one in our area to do it, plus, with so many dogs, cats, and birds, it would have cost a small fortune to take them to a kennel. We  finally found a friend to stay at our house. Our vacation was great knowing that someone we trusted was there caring for our "children". 
 When we returned, we realized that we were too old to be in the restaurant business. Pet sitting seemed like the best job ever! Who knew that our passion /love of animals could be turned into a business? !! We contacted the only pet sitter in the phone book, who, by the way, did not come out to our area. They helped us so much getting started, even sending us some clients.
    After about a year, I left my  job to pursue this full time, 6 months later Tom did too.We have been doing it full time ever since.
THE PET SITTERS give you a chance to actually relax and have fun on your vacation. What we do, is set up an appointment to meet the client (and you), to see what needs to be done. If the dog is skittish, or could be on the aggressive side, we can come a few more times to make sure everyone is comfortable. We want the pets to feel at ease and not be stressed.  Your pets are most important to you, and to us!
     Now that we all know each other, we come to your home 1-4 visits per day, at the times you requested.  We stay at least 30 minutes to play with and pamper them. We love your pets as much as you do. We protect them and worry about them as if they were our own.
    we believe that your babies are so much happier at home in their own environment with their own smells, sounds and blankies. 
     We realize that it's never easy to leave them, but hopefully, once you see  how we all interact, it will put your mind at ease. We are happy to text you pictures and updates.  We do mid day walks for those who work long hours, and twilight walks for those who want to go out after work.  
 Our car is full of balls and Frisbees for the dogs we take to the beach or have a nice fenced in area to play catch. For our kitty clients, we have feathers and strings and lots of love and patience for you too.

     We work 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, with an occasional long weekend off to visit our grandson in TN
